Privacy Policy
MomentCue is a wedding planning and workflow platform for photographers. It helps photographers organise wedding information, portrait groups, timelines, and shoot-day workflows.
This Privacy Policy explains how MomentCue collects, uses, and protects personal information when using momentcue.com, app.momentcue.com, and related support and communication channels.
If you have any questions, you can contact support@momentcue.com.
Who Is Responsible for Information
For account management, billing, support, website operation, and service administration, MomentCue acts as the controller of personal information.
For wedding information entered by photographers or shared through private couple links, the photographer is generally responsible for deciding what information is collected and why. MomentCue processes that information to provide the service to the photographer.
Photographers are responsible for ensuring they have the appropriate permissions and lawful basis to collect and use wedding-related information.

This may include couple names, wedding date and venue, timeline details, wedding party and family names, portrait group information, notes and workflow information, and contact details voluntarily added by photographers or couples.
Billing Information
Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. MomentCue does not store full payment card details.
We may store limited billing and subscription information such as subscription status, billing identifiers, payment history, and plan type.

We may automatically collect technical and usage information such as IP address, browser and device information, log and diagnostic data, session information, usage activity, and error and performance information.

If you contact support, we may process your contact details, message content, attachments or screenshots you choose to send, and related account or wedding references.
How Information Is Used
MomentCue uses information to provide and operate the service, create and manage accounts, authenticate users, manage weddings and timelines, generate exports and PDFs, process subscriptions and payments, provide customer support, improve reliability and performance, protect against abuse, fraud, and unauthorised access, and comply with legal obligations.
MomentCue does not sell personal information and does not use wedding information for third-party advertising.
Lawful Bases
Where UK or EU data protection laws apply, MomentCue relies on contract to provide the service, legitimate interests for security, administration, support, and service improvement, legal obligation where records must be retained for legal, tax, accounting, or compliance purposes, and consent where consent is legally required.
Photographers are responsible for identifying the lawful basis for any wedding-party information they collect using MomentCue.
Sharing Information
MomentCue uses carefully selected third-party providers to support areas such as hosting and infrastructure, authentication, payment processing, mapping and location services, email and communications, customer support, analytics and monitoring.
Information is only shared where reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and support the service.
MomentCue may also disclose information where required by law, to respond to legal requests, to enforce Terms, to protect rights, safety, or security, or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of the business.
Private Wedding Links
Private wedding links act as access credentials. Anyone with a valid link may be able to view or edit wedding information shared through that link, depending on the settings chosen by the photographer.
Photographers are responsible for sharing links appropriately.
International Transfers
MomentCue and its service providers may process information in countries outside the UK or EEA.
Where required, appropriate safeguards are used to protect personal information during international transfers.
Retention
MomentCue keeps information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain accounts, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect the platform.
Deleted information may remain in backups or security logs for a limited period where reasonably necessary for operational, legal, or security purposes.
MomentCue is not intended to operate as a permanent backup or archival service. Photographers are responsible for keeping their own copies of important information and exports.
Security
MomentCue uses reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information and maintain service security.
However, no online service can guarantee absolute security or uninterrupted availability. Users are responsible for protecting their own devices, passwords, and private wedding links.
If you believe there has been unauthorised access to your account or information, contact support@momentcue.com.
Your Rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access personal information, correct inaccurate information, request deletion, restrict or object to processing, request portability, and withdraw consent where applicable.
Requests relating to wedding information should usually be directed first to the photographer responsible for collecting that information.
You may also contact support@momentcue.com.
If you are based in the UK, you may complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). If you are in the EEA, you may contact your local supervisory authority.
Children
MomentCue is intended for use by photographers and businesses, not children.
Photographers should avoid storing unnecessary sensitive information or information relating to children unless genuinely required for the wedding workflow and collected lawfully.
Automated Processing
MomentCue may generate timeline suggestions, workflow indicators, venue-related calculations, and exports, but users remain responsible for reviewing and deciding how to use that information.
MomentCue does not make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on individuals.
Cookies
MomentCue uses cookies and similar technologies required for authentication, security, payments, and core service functionality.
